Catherine

Catherine is a Registered Nurse with experience across a range of healthcare settings including agency work, aged care, mental health, and disability care. She has previously worked at the Cairns Base Hospital in Far North Queensland providing dedicated care to critically ill patients within the emergency and paediatric emergency wards. In this role she evaluated and monitored post-surgical patients, conducted assessments to identify potential complications, monitored vital signs, and evaluated the effectiveness of interventions.

She has worked with high-risk mental health patients in the Intensive Care Unit at The Melbourne Clinic collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement management strategies , crisis interventions and medication administration.  She has also worked at the Homesglen Private Hospital, Epworth Rehabilitation and Cabrini Residential aged care. Catherine holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from James Cook University, a diploma in nursing from Swinburne University and is a graduate of Caulfield Grammar.
