Dr Daryl Wong

Born and raised in Melbourne’s South East, Dr Daryl moved to Brisbane to attend The University of Queensland, completing the Doctor of Medicine program in 2019. 

Prior to entering General Practice Training, he gained a breadth of experience in children’s health, geriatric medicine, general medicine, and chronic disease management, having completed resident terms at the Mater Hospital Brisbane, Mater Mothers Hospital, Queensland Children’s Hospital and Toowoomba Hospital.

He subsequently moved to tropical Far North Queensland in 2023 to pursue a career in General Practice, and has since completed Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. 

Dr Daryl endeavours to provide friendly and comprehensive medical care to patients from all walks of life. He enjoys the variety and unpredictable nature of General Practice work, and the opportunity to collaborate with patients not only during their most difficult moments, but also when they are fit and healthy as well.

His special interests include Chronic Disease Management, Weight Loss, and Skin Cancer.  

Beyond the clinic walls, he enjoys travelling to foodie destinations and relaxing with his feline fur babies. He is a huge advocate for the role of exercise and physical activity in improving one’s physical and mental health and does his best to practice what he preaches, staying active through running, weight training and martial arts.
